News: Darth Vader Deluxe 1/6 scale figure teaser from Sideshow

A teaser image of the Star War Darth Vader had been posted on Sideshow website. According to source, it will be a 1/6 scaled figure, which is coming just in time if you have or is ordering the Hot Toys Han Solo recently. From the picture, it seems pretty decent and should looks good with HT Han Solo, I guess...

No other info have been revealed yet, including the PO timing, price, release date and so on. Remember to check back for more updates to come!

News: Padawan Obi-Wan from Sideshow

I always thought Obi-wan has a beard until I see this new 1:6 Padawan Obi-Wan from Sideshow. My knowledge of Star Wars is really shallow. But that doesn't stop me from posting this nice figure! As I blog along, I also learn along! Yes, this is the young Obi-Wan from the Star Wars -Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.

According to source, the Obi-Wan Kenobi was portrayed by Scottish actor, Ewan McGregor, which I feel has a high likeness with the Sideshow 1:6 Obi-Wan figure. 

According to source, the exclusive version includes an additional 'Lightsaber Duel' Portrait for alternate display options. But looking at the images, I have no idea where is that portrait? Anyway, this 1:6 Obi-Wan will be available for PO on 20th Sep between 2pm to 3pm (Pacific Timing). So Stars Wars fans, you have another 6 hours to consider whether you are getting this. May the force be with you.

News: Sideshow announced Star Wars Gamorrean Executioner - Lomrokk

The latest Star Wars statue announced by Sideshow, Gamorrean Executioner joins the line of Mythos. According to source, this would be Sideshow's third announced statue from Mythos line. This Lomrokk statue stands approx 19" high and weights about 6.35kg and made of polystone. This statue is made to the 1:5 scale.

The exclusive version shows a 'yawning-liked' Lomrokk and personally I think it looks comical which is in contrast with the normal version head. This Lomrokk is now available for preorder at Sideshow and expected to be released by Mar 2013.

Not long along, Sideshow just announced the Legendary Scale Bust for Star Wars Captain Rex. Currently, this Legendary Bust is available for PO at Sideshow Collectibles.

Standing at 24", this Bust is quite a large one although it is only in their 1:2 scale. Collectors should be expecting them to arrive in April 13.
