News: New 52 Justice League Cyborg ARTFX+ Statue from Kotobukiya

This is actually "last year's" news, the last member of the DC Comics Justice League New 52 ARTFX+ Statue series, Cyborg has finally made his appearance on Kotobukiya's facebook page! Let's have a look at the pictures below:

"A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya’s line of DC Comics “New 52” ARTFX+ Statues continues, capturing the new looks and costumes of heroes in the Justice League. Joining the previously announced Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, Batman, and Wonder Woman is the final member of the team, Cyborg! Victor Stone was a student athlete who was caught in an explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs while visiting his father Silas. Seeing his son barely clinging to life, Silas performed a radical procedure implanting all sorts of alien and experimental technology into Victor. Reborn as part man and part machine, the young man finds himself defending the Earth against Darkseid alongside its greatest heroes as Cyborg!

Accepting his newfound powers and the responsibilities they entail, Cyborg completes the elite lineup of the ARTFX+ Justice League. The technological hero is armored from head to toe with smooth panels interspersed with layered plates and segments.

The sculpting detail on Cyborg is phenomenal, with intricate cybernetic mechanisms including the complex interlocking sections on his torso, heavy boots, and the powerful weapon on his right arm. Under all of that metal is still the heart and soul of a young man, and the only flesh and blood part of Victor that’s visible is three-quarters of his face and a sliver of his scalp.

Cyborg stands nearly 8 ½ inches tall in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale, and was sculpted by Atelier Bamboo (Goutaro Takeuchi). Like his allies, magnets in his feet give him excellent stability on the included Justice League logo display base. Cyborg completes the Justice League lineup, so be sure to collect them all!" - From Kotobukiya

For those who have not seen the previous releases of DC Comics Justice League New 52 ARTFX+ Statue series, I have posted a few here; Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman and The Flash. (I have missed out on Superman and Green lantern). According to source this Cyborg will be ready by July, time to do your PO if you really like this figure!

My Collections: BEACH QUEENS - Fate/Zero Saber 1/10 Figure

This figure came in last week and I managed to take some photos of it during the weekends. Beach Queens Series manufacturer, WAVE actually came out four different versions of Saber over the past few months. They are the Fate/ hollow ataraxia version, Fate/ Extra version, Fate/ Stay Night version and this Fate/ Zero version. Due to budget constraints, I knew I had to make a hard decision - to choose one out of the three... After looking at all the three figures, I chose this.

I don't know the exact reason why I chose this out of the four but I feel more comfortable with this. For those who have no idea how the other three version looks like, I have shared the images below.

As mentioned, this is a 1/10 scaled figure, so it is not really big and easy to maintain. The complaint I would have will be the lack of accessories, it looks pretty plain to me. But well, this is a beach outfit, so it is really nothing to be complain of, haha...

News: Kotobukiya reveals New 52 Wonder Woman ARTFX+ Statue

Last week, Kotobukiya teased a picture of Wonder Woman's 'butt' (shown above). And today on Kotobukiya's facebook page, they finally reveal the whole of Wonder Woman. Known as New 52 Wonder Woman, she officially joined in the ARTFX+ Statue series!

"A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya's line of DC Comics "New 52" ARTFX+ Statues continues, capturing the new looks and costumes of heroes in the Justice League. Joining the previously announced Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman and Batman is the Amazonian warrior Wonder Woman! Born of Zeus and Hipplyta, Diana was a princess on the paradise island of Themyscira before venturing out into the wider world of humanity. Her first major appearance (in the relaunched New 52 continuity) was the great battle against Darkseid's Paeademons in which she teamed up with other heroes to form the Justice League.

The magnificent Wonder Woman stands poised with a warrior's strength and a god's grace. Always ready for battle, Diana wears her iconic costume as reinterpreted by Jim Lee in the New 52. Along with her stars and stripes bodice she rocks full pants and tall boots. Wonder Woman's left hand is balled into a fist at her waist, always near the short sword at her back, while her right hand rests over her Lasso of Truth. Of course, no Wonder Woman would be complete without her bracelets and tiara! The Amazon princess features intricate sculpted details in her unique outfit from the stars and eagle design on her top to the subtle armor and paneling on her pants and the creases in her boots. Diana's face captures the character's austere beauty and fierce determination.

Standing 71/2 inches tall (in the ARTX+ 1/10th scale), Wonder Woman was sculpted by master artist Atelier Bamboo. She has magnets in her feet for perfect statibility on her included display base (with Justice League logo), and naturally she'll look great on her shelf to the rest of her powerful allies. Stay tuned for the final member of the team coming soon, Cyborg!" - From Kotobukiya's facebook

Set to release in June 2013, but currently still not available for preorder in most online stores. Fans of this series, you are finally near the end. Just one more (Cyborg) to go!

News: Batman New 52 Justice League ARTFX+ Statue from Kotobukiya

On last Wednesday, Kotobukiya had a teaser on their upcoming New 52 Batman  ARTFX+ statue which I have posted here. And today, Kotobukiya has revealed the full image of the Batman statue on their facebook page! Let's take a look at the pictures below!

Standing at approx 8", Batman is in the 1/10 scale ARTFX+ statue line and ready to fight alongside his Justice League teammates! According to source, it will be available in May 2013!

"A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya's line of DC Comics "New 52" ARTFX+ Statues continues, capturing the new looks and costumes of heroes in the Justices League. Joining the previously released Superman, Green Lantern, Flash and Aquaman is the Dark Knight Batman! After witnessing the brutal murder of his parents, young Bruce Wayne was forever scarred and turned his angst and enormous fortune toward training and outfitting himself as Gotham City's premiere vigilante. In DC Comics' relaunched New 52 continuity Batman joins forces with Superman, Green Lantern and the rest to oppose Darkseid's invasion of Earth as the Justice League! Joining his fellow Leaguers in their impressive lineup, Batman stands at the ready, no doubt contemplating multiple scenarios in his head. Waynes's first appearance in the ARTFX+ line up captures his New 52 look by Jim Lee perfectly, with this current subtly-armored Batsuit. The details on Batman are exceptional from the intricate lines on his costume to the many tiny pouches on his utility belt, wicked bladed gauntlets, long flowing cape, and more. Kotobukiya's unique take on this Batman features a metallic sheen to his gray costume that looks fantastic with the darker black of the cape, cowl, chest emblem, gloves, and boots, while of course the belt is its traditional bright yellow. Standing nearly 8 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale), Batman was sculpted by master artist Goutaro Takeuchi (Atelier Bamboo). Like the other Justice League members Wayne has magnets in his feet for perfect stability on the included base, and he'll look great displayed on your shelf by himself or alongside his teammates." - From Kotobukiya's Facebook

News: Aquaman New 52 Justice League ARTFX+ Statue from Kotobukiya

The teaser picture above was shown just before NYCC 2012 starts, and we saw it been displayed at the Kotobukiya booth at NYCC 2012 which I also shared here. Followed after the Flash, the next "New 52 Justice League" ARTFX+ Statue is none other then the Aquaman!

Standing at approx 8" tall, this Aquaman ARTFX+ statue should be available by April 2013 according to source.

"A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya's line of DC Comics "New 52" ARTFX+ Statues continues, capturing the new looks and costumes of heroes in the Justice League. Joining the previously release Superman, Green Lantern, and Flash is the half-Atlantean Aquaman! A former ruler of Altantis who seeks to defend the world both above and below the waves, Arthur Curry is a powerful warrior and leader. While it has been revealed that he has had previous adventures with other teams, Aquaman's first major public appearance in the relaunched New 52 country was in the pages of Justice League, joining the other heroes against Darkseid and his forces.

The current incarnation of Aquaman makes the character larger than life, with strength, intelligence, and powers that make him a valued member of the Justice League. Arthur appears here in the ARTFX+ line up with a fantastic representation of those heroic ideals, standing with all of the quiet grace of an otherworldly ruler. Aquaman's iconic costume is captured with every fine detail from the intricate overlapping scales of his metallic orange armor to the creases and pointed fins on his green pants and gloves. The muscular aquatic hero holds his mighty trident in his right hand, calmly staring down the threats arrayed before him under his wavy blonde hair.

Standing nearly 8 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale), Aquaman was sculpted by master artist Goutaro Takeuchi (Atelier Bamboo). Like the other Justice League members Aquaman has magnets in his feet for perfect stability on the included display base, and he'll look great displayed on your shelf by himself or alongside his teammates."
