News: Tamashii Nations announced S.H. Figuarts - TIGER & BUNNY Rock Bison (Movie Edition)

 

Following the Wild Tiger, his best friend, also known as Rock Bison is also having a new S.H Figuarts figure in the Movie Edition! See below for more images!

According to source, Rock Bison Movie edition is currently available for preorder on Bandai official shopping site, and scheduled to be released by Apr 2013. I already have the previous version, so it is less likely I would get this version. For those who missed the previous version, this is the chance for you to get it! I have also added a picture of the previous version of S.H. Figuarts Rock Bison.

My Collection: Bandai Chibi-art Kaburagi T. Kotetsu

Got this Chibi art Kaburagi T. Kotetsu last month, a new addition to my Tiger and Bunny Chi art set. This is the first time I actually opened up a chibi art figure because I usually  kept my previous Chi art figures MISB. I know I have to open it open in order to take better quality photos out of it. I never regret getting this Chibit art, and I would try to at least complete the eight heroes from Tiger and Bunny (even-though currently only four have released). Anyway, here are the photos taken.

Yes, there are only five pictures taken, so don't bother to scroll for more. It took me awhile to play around and finalize with these 3 poses, but I think the result came out fine. The poses looks pretty natural.. I may try to pose Kotetsu with Barnaby if I could find the time to do so.

News: Tamashii Nation announced SH Figuarts TIGER & BUNNY - H-01

Tamashii Nation is celebrating their 5th anniversary this year and there will be an event held at Akihabara, Tokyo. But I am not going to blog about the event now. I am more interested in one of the items that is announced.

It looks familiar? Yes indeed. It looks similar to the Wild Tiger which I have blogged here. But this is a different character. Notice the color, instead of Wild Tiger's green color, this is reddish pink, more like the color of Barnaby's suit. In the anime, this was created by Maverick, the villain in the series in order to replace Wild Tiger who he thinks him of a threat. Hence Maverick erased everyone's memory of Wild Tiger and created this H-01, aka the fake Wild Tiger to accuse Wild Tiger of murderer.... Ok, it is not necessary for you to understand if you don't watch this show, just know him as a fake Wild Tiger or H-01, haha.

News: TIGER & BUNNY - Wid Tiger (Top Mag Ver.) by S.H. Figuarts

I cannot remember how many Wild Tiger figures did Bandai release. But this is the first time he was release in his original Wild Tiger costume. Yes, before he had his armor, he was wearing only a simple costume with a cape in blue as shown.

According to source, the releasing date is Jan 12, but it is not going to be cheap...

News: Bandai Tiger & Bunny -12" Perfect Model Kotetsu T. Kaburagi

This was also announced few days back, same series as the Wild Tiger from the previous post. While this 12" Perfect Model Kotetsu T. Kaburagi is actually Wild Tiger in his casual wear.

Size: Appx 310mm (1/6 scale)
Material: ABS, PVC, Cloth

- Exchangeable head parts
- Personal Display stand


Although in his causal wear, but Kotetsu is still looking awesome. He has a decent head sculpt together with his outfits and accessories as close as possible with the animation. According to source, it should be out in Mar 13.

News: Bandai Tiger & Bunny -12" Perfect Model Wild Tiger

There has been several releases on Wild Tiger from Tiger and Bunny recently. And due to my busy schedules, I have not post anything on Wild Tiger yet. So here I am, trying to catch up!

First of all, this 12" Wild Tiger in his battle suit produced by Bandai has been announced with their official images and ready for POing! It was actually posted here when news of the 12" series was announced.

Size: Appx 310mm (1/6 scale)
Material: ABS, PVC, Diecast
Required: LR41 Battery x 16

- Optional hand parts x left, right each 5 types
- Optional face part (open face)
- Option should parts
- Wild Shoot x left, right

Personally, I feel that there is not much differences between the 12" and 6" Wild Tiger figure. But I really liked the light up effects on the 12" Perfect Model. According to source, it should be available in Dec 12.

News: Bandai released new series - Figure-Rise 6 Tiger & Bunny

When I first saw this, I thought they were either the earlier release from Tamashii or the 1/8 MG Figure-Rise. Until someone mentioned that these are a new series line released by Bandai. You can't blame me because it all looks the same... Except the price... (If you know what I mean)

Bandai has release 3 items under this new line at one go:

Wild Tiger
Barnaby
Double Chaser

And if only they can release these earlier, I wouldn't have to spend so much on the Tamashii line... (sob)

Anyway you guys better act fast if you want a piece of these, they are selling out fast now!
