News: Iceman, Beast, Bishop statues and X-Men busts from Bowen Designs

Bowen Design announced several new statues and mini busts which I seen it on their facebook pages. These releases consists of Classic Iceman, Original Beast and the Original X-Men mini bust 5 pack plus an upcoming Bishop.

Iceman Classic Statue stands around 12". He is posing in his 'ice' mode standing proud with clenching fist. According to source, he will be releasing in Dec 12.

Beast is in the original X-Men uniform. Posing here in a squatting position, Beast is having an angry expression... According to source it is also releasing in Dec 12.

This is the 5 pack Original X-Men mini bust. The 5 X-Men includes Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman and Jean Grey. Over 6" tall this 5 pack looks decent and I am most likely going to get it. According to source, the release date is also in Dec 12.

The Bishop statue shown here, still in the prototype stage is looking awesome. Also part of the X-Men team, looks like it is the X-Men trend now.

News: Hot Toys announced X-MEN 3 The Last Stand - 1/6 scale Wolverine Collectible Figurine

We have first seen images of this X3 Wolverine during the Anicom (Click here if you want to view again!). Just a moment ago my facebook page has been flooding with the official pictures of this X3 Wolverine...

This may be the second Hugh Jackman figurine based on Hot Toys but the head sculpt has been a debating issue among fans and collectors. For guys who do not have the first HT Wolverine, this may be a good replacement unless you have bucks to spend at ebay. While saying that, the figure base (which was revealed a few days ago) was quite awesome I think. it resemble the Sentinel's head and I managed to find the clips of the scene (thanks to source).

Is this where the figure base comes from?

News: X-MEN Fine Art Statue - Cyclops Danger Room Sessions from Kotobukiya

We first saw images of this fine art statue by Kotobukiya at the SDCC (you may click here to see again!). Just a moment ago, I saw pictures of this statue and it is up for PO.

Standing at approx. 34 cm, this statue is built to 1:6 scale. This cyclops is a pre-painted complete coldcast figure, ready to add on to your X-MEN Danger room series! While I did not buy any of the Kotobukiya X-MEN Danger room statues, I would not hesitate to buy this. (He is my second favorite Superhero afterall!)

News: Hot Toys reveal X-Men Wolverine and Professor Xavier

Did not expect to see Hot Toys coming out this version of Wolverine. You can the costume Wolverine is wearing, they are from the first 3 X-men series movies. While Professor Xavier is obviously from the X-Men 1st Class.

News: Pictures of X-Men Original 1960s Mini Bust from Bowen Designs

Saw this picture of the original X-Men mini bust on Toyark.com and thought of sharing it here. From the picture, it shows several characters like the Cyclops (2 versions), Jean Grey (2 versions), Iceman (3 versions), Beast (2 versions) and Angel (2 versions). Looks great when they are displayed together. Earlier I saw the full body sculpture of Cyclops, Jean and Angel, but it is over my budget. Maybe I can consider the mini bust instead, hmmm...
