News: Hot Toys announced Iron Man 3 - Mark XLII 1/6th scale Limited Edition Collectible Figurine
"Marvel’s Iron Man 3 is coming to town this month and Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/6th scale Mark XLII Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from the Iron Man 3 movie for the MMS Diecast Series. This is only the second collectible to be introduced in our premium Diecast Series.
Leading the MMS Diecast Series is the iconic Iron Man 3 Series, in which the collectible figures are made of diecast material, specially designed to look more closely to the realistic Iron Man characters in the movie. The MMS Diecast Series will bring fans to the next level of authenticity, focusing on the materials, fine details and engineering of the Iron Man collectible figures, while some of the parts can be shared between our MMS and Diorama Series for displaying together in 1/6th scale. More collectibles from Iron Man 3 will be coming from the MMS Diecast Series!
The movie-accurate Mark XLII Collectible Figurine is highly detailed and fully deployed, specially crafted based on the image of Robert Downey Jr. as Mark XLII in the movie, highlighting the highly detailed head sculpt, metallic red, golden and silver well equipped armor, light-up functions.

News: Latest issue of Figure King Magazine shows Prototype of Iron Man Mark 42 and Iron Whiplash from Hot Toys
I am sure many of you have seen this news already, it has been reported that the prototypes of the Iron Man Mark 42 and the Iron Whiplash (from Iron Man 2) has been shown on the Figure King magazine of 182nd issue. While the official details have not been confirmed by Hot Toys, fans can get to see the WIP version of both figures!

News: Kotobukiya reveals their Mark XLII ARTFX Statue
We have seen the Irom Man 3 products from Hot Toys, now Kotobukiya is showing their's. Made in the ARTFX Statue series, Kotobukiya's Iron Man is ready for some action!
"A Kotobukiya Japanese import! This summer one of the most popular Marvel superheroes returns to the silver screen. In the first two Iron Man films as well as the Avengers Robert Downey Jr. has played the perfect Tony Stark and his heroic alter ego Iron Man, with incredible special effects bringing his armored forms to life like never before. Following on the massive global success of the superhero team up movie Marvel is bringing the fans even more armored action with Iron Man 3 this May! Joining the previously announced Mark VII in the Iron Man 3 ARTFX Statue lineup is a new armored suit from the upcoming movie, Iron Man Mark 42!
After surviving imprisonment by terrorists, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark created the Mark II armor suit. This was followed up soon after by the iconic Mark III suit used to battle Stane and his Iron Monger suit at the culmination of the first film, and the upgraded Marks IV, V, and VI armor in the sequel. He went even further with the Mark VII in Avengers, using the high-tech armor to take on the army of the Chitauri. Now we get a sneak peek at the ultimate powered armor in Stark’s Iron Man 3 Mark 42. Similar to the Mark VII, the new version is a sleek machine with overlapping plates and a unique segmented look. Iron Man blasts into action, churning up water beneath him with his thrusters. The dynamic pose catches the superhero leaning back as he fires his repulsor ray from his outstretched right hand, clenching the left for a follow up attack.
