News: War Machine Mini Bust from Gentle Giant

Gentle Giant just announced this new War Machine Mini Bust in their newsletter and here I am, sharing it on my blog. From the images, it doesn't look like the Iron Man 2 movie version, nor the comic version. But it does resemble the Iron Man 3 War Machine Bust from Hot Toys...

"From the screen to your shelf, Gentle Giant Ltd. is proud to bring you the 2013 Premier Guild Exclusive WAR MACHINE Mini Bust! Who says hanging out with Tony Stark doesn't have its perks? Jim "Rhody" Rhodes (played by Don Cheadle) is Tony's Air Force Liason and the closest thing he can call a friend. In Iron Man 2, Tony gave Rhody his own heavy weapons-focused set of Iron Man armor, codenamed War Machine. Now, War Machine will stand side-by-side with Iron Man as they do battle with The Mandarin in 2013's Iron Man 3!

This bold, action-packed deluxe piece features an unprecedented level of detail and dramatic light-up effects! Digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant Ltd. using the suit designs from IRON MAN 3, this is the most screen-accurate War Machine mini bust available! This hand-painted limited edition bust is individually numbered and comes with a matching certificate of authenticity. Sign up for the 2013 Premier Guild and select it as your gift today!" - From Gentle Giant website

"Tony Stark: You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? What's your secret? Mellow jazz? Bongo drums? Huge bag of weed?

Assembled by Nick Fury, The Hulk and rest of the Avengers are first tasked with defending the world from the evil Norse god of mischief, Loki and his army of Chitauri invaders.

Now you can Assemble your own Avengers with the Hulk Avengers Mini Bust! Rendered using the authentic digital sculpts from the film, this mini bust is the definition of screen accurate. Cold cast in high quality polystone and hand-painted, these individually numbered limited edition mini bust are a must-have for any true Marvel fan." - Description from Gentle Giant

News: Gentle Giant announced Ironman and Venom mini bust

These two mini bust were shown at the display during the SDCC 2012. I had post images of it in one of my SDCC post here. And on Wed, I received newsletter from Gentle Giant that these two mini bust are available for preorder! The website also includes more images of both the mini bust which I will be sharing below:

Somehow I feel the proportion of Ironman seems weird to me. It could be the angle of the picture... Not a must have for me at the time being.

My eyes are on Venom. I knew I will be getting it since I first seen the pictures of it on the displays during  SDCC 2012. Hope the actual product looks as awesome as the pictures!

News: Gentle Giant display from SDCC 2012

Pictures shown below are some of the Marvel Gentle Giant display at SDCC 2012. I have previously bought a few bust statues from Gentle Giant and I feel they are really great statues! Recently with the launch of the series of Marvel movies, I have noticed Gentle Giant also increased their number of Marvel statues. During the SDCC 2012, they have released quite a handful of Marvel Statues too.

Omg, all of them just looks too cool, especially the Hulk and the Venom! Going to order them for sure. Let me know which are your sure buys! Do drop me a comment if you have any, thanks for viewing!
