News: 1/6 scale Saber action figure from Medicom

This Saber action figure was on display during the recent Wonder fest Winter 2013. This may not be the first 1/6 scale Saber figure, but it is one of the few Saber action figures in 1/6 scale! Check out the pictures!

Although it may not comes with many alternate accessories, but it is definitely a great figure to have. The only negative part here is the overpriced price... Currently it is available for PO on several online shops. Be sure to order it if you can afford to!

My Collection: Nendoroid - Saber Zero Ver.

This actually came in quite some time, but I have no time to post it. Now I finally have the time to do so... I cannot remember how many Nendoroid Saber have been produced, but this is definitely one special set. It comes with her bike! It is thoughtful of GSC to include the bike since this is Saber from Fate/ Zero version.

I really enjoy posing Saber on her bike, and the movable joint of the stand makes it possible for me to create more poses for Saber!

Since this is Saber from Fate/Zero version, I have a previously bought Saber from Fate/Zero version by Banpresto, the A Prize for Ichiban Kuji lottery (Click here to view). I did a side by side comparison below.

I did not notice about the bike difference until I compared these two together. One was before transformation and one after. The one in black was actually a Yamaha V-Max, given to Saber by Kiritsugu. When Saber was riding it to chase Rider who was on his Gordius Wheel, the Yamaha V-Max cannot withstand Saber's riding speed. Using her armor and Invisible Air in conjunction to reinforce it, she is able to achieve the bike shown (silver color). We are coming to the end of this post, hope you enjoy reading it!

My Collection: Banpresto Fate/ Zero DXF Servant figure vol.1 (Saber and Lancer)

I have really been waiting for this series since I posted news of this on my blog in August last year (Click here to view). Finally I have collected it last Friday. Let's scroll down for more pictures!

This is the Vol. 1 of this Banpresto Fate/ Zero DXF Servant figure series featuring Saber and Lancer and both figure will be shown on this post. Let us take a look at Lancer first.

The box art is basically the image of the Lancer figure in the box. But I like the way it is presented at backview of the box. It shows all 8 figures with Lancer in the center.

The figure itself looks pretty good especially the head sculpt. It shows really great details that he even has his 'beauty spot' under his right eye. Not sure if I am the only one who thinks he resembled Aizen (from Bleach). 

Next we have Saber in the house! Lets first look at the box art!

Same as Lancer, the box art of Saber is simply images of the Saber figure in the box. Nothing really special about it... Let's move on to the actual figure.

This figure is awesome, the coloring, shading and details are really up to standard. I am quite impressed with the details of the Excalibur. I have taken several pictures of both figures below, please scroll down to enjoy!
