News: New Dragon Ball Z movie to release on March 30, 2013!

17 years since his last movie, Akira Toriyama, the original author have come back for his 18th Dragonball movie which is announced to be release in 2013 30th March. Dragonball was originally serialized for 10 years in Weekly Shōnen Jump (from 1984 to 1995). Additionally, Toei has developed seventeen animated films and three television specials, as well as an anime sequel titled Dragon Ball GT, which takes place after the events of the manga. From 2009 to 2011, "Dragon Ball Kai," which was a revised, faster-paced version of Dragon Ball Z was also boardcasted.

As revealed by Toriyama-sensei, the story of the movie will be set after the fight with Majin Buu (Chapter 517 of the original story), and that what happened 10 years of space for up to Chapter 518 will. Fans need not worry that this movie will be a spin off as Toriyama-sensei had stressed that the movie will be much intact with the origin.
